tells me I should make posting on this blog a weekly calendar event or something… maybe after I sign out from work, I should blog, every Monday. Not that bad an idea, actually… gives me the weekend to tease out some shenanigans or art objects. That being said, sorry for being so late! I wanted to put off posting until I finished my hallowe’en costume, but that happened on the 20th and I still don’t have the pictures from my folks, so here I go now, writing away so that you have something to read or look at!
The dieresis (double dot) is not arbirtary! It means that the “e” and “i” are pronounced independently, as in Ma-day-ee-ra. Or just give the middle syllable an enormous drawl or something. The one to the right has about a +50% saturation bump on it, and the left is original… I like both XD Also I realized that Madeïra is an anagram for Merida, as in Pixar’s Brave, and they bear a striking resemblance to one another… twins, separated at birth? Since I’ve been gone, I’ve drawn a lot 🙂 Started an art journal in a blank book my jennguin-sis gave me when she graduated from high school (all of eight years ago, holy cannoli! It has an “e” on the front 😉 Not sure how much of it I’ll show you all because it’s rather personal, but I’ll take some pics and blur bits or something 🙂
Meanwhile, here are some old drawings! They were new when Doctor Who Series 5 was new.
Disclaimer: I love David Tennant, but Matt Smith is just adorable as the doctor, and I’ll have no hatin’ on my blog. kthx.
All are freehand, although I composited several different sketches for the Amy wallpaper (and added the title, of course, as my handwriting isn’t that precise!).
Welp, I felt like I had to give you something to look at until I get some more recent scans or photos done ;D As always, thanks for reading!
